IMR is currently interviewing for a full-time senior account director who will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns - with an emphasis on media relations - for high-profile clients in the hospitality, travel, beverage and lifestyle industries. Ideal candidates will:

  • Bring 5-7 years of direct media relations experience. Previous work with hospitality, hotel and beverage industries a plus
  • Illustrate editorial placements as a result of relationships with the press
  • Demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Have successfully managed 3-5 full-time team members in previous positions 
  • Lead. Be a thinker, a learner and a strategist who can see the big picture and how day-to-day tasks and projects contribute to a long-term vision
  • Self-start. Know how to manage information, prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Be willing to take on all aspects of client campaigns, no matter how large or small the task
  • Have a discerning eye for detail
  • Exude eagerness and seek opportunities to learn about the industry
  • Radiate positivity and team spirit
  • Possess entrepreneurial attributes
  • Be undaunted by navigating digital platforms, with an eye for emerging trends and a high comfort level for integration, content creation and influencer engagement
  • Staff press and/or industry events on evenings and weekends as needed
  • Travel as needed
