The Associate, Corporate Communications serves as a publicist on the Corporate Communications team that supports multiple NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment business units: the Entertainment Networks group (USA Network and SYFY) and scripted and unscripted studios (Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and Wilshire Studios). Working with the Vice President and Director, the Associate will work on executing and supporting corporate communications initiatives, overall network communications, marketing/digital campaigns and internal communications.

Job Duties
  • Execute and support publicity and media relations campaigns for both trade/business initiatives and special projects
  • Work with the VP on communications for USA’s WWE partnership and properties
  • Work closely with our award-winning digital units to identify and pitch press coverage for network and show initiatives, including mobile, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and consumer applications
  • Manage key awards and lists submissions for our networks and execs, working closely with VP and Director
  • Build and maintain vertical press lists
  • Write and copyedit press materials, corporate information, executive bios and key fact sheets
  • Assist with writing key talking points
  • Maintain press clippings and reports for corporate communications efforts and campaigns
  • Plan and support internal and external events, including internal team screenings


  • Basic Qualifications
    • 2 + years’ experience in communications, public relations or journalism
