We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing and Communications Associate who is interested in joining our fast-paced dynamic environment. 

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing, and operating in a matrixed environment, with responsibility to the business, multiple functions, internal customers, and external customers, the Associate, Marketing and Communications supports the Sales Marketing, Industry Intelligence & Market Insights, Brand Management and Messaging and Communications functions. Growth opportunities are available due to ongoing business and geographic expansion of the enterprise.  This position is based in Allendale, NJ

Key Deliverables: 

Event marketing support:

  • External event project management, including sponsored event playbooks
  • Event logistics planning

Marketing asset project management:

  • Marketing assets designed to build awareness of HCATS’s service offerings in the marketplace and build an understanding of and preference for HCATS’s service offering within current customers

Digital/social media management:

  • Social media calendar
  • Blog/publication calendar
  • Industry newsfeed

Research and Analysis:

  • Competitor research
  • Customer and market research
  • Advance research on prospective conferences
  • Evaluation and ranking of prospective conferences
  • Cost/benefit analysis on targeted conferences
  • Lead source evaluation
  • ROI determination on marketing programs & past conferences

Internal Brand & Communications Support:

  • Internal brand auditing & change planning
  • Project manage internal presentations by clients and industry for employee enrichment and brand exposure
  • Logistics and project management for company town hall events
  • Projects to develop awareness, understanding and adoption of company core values
  • Manage development and publication of a periodic company internal magazine
  • Business compliance with the set communications standards
  • Corrective action in cases of communications not meeting those standards

Knowledge and Experience:

  • BA or BS degree required, preferably in business, marketing, or communications
  • Experience managing and tracking to a budget required
  • Minimum 1-year work experience in marketing required
  • Intermediate experience with Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Life sciences, biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience is preferred
