Support day-to-day media relations for Premier League, Triple Crown Horse Racing, Olympics, Combat Sports, Cycling, NBC Sports Digital, SportsEngine, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, and other sports / properties.Assist communications team publicists and VPs to promote show content, initiatives, talent profiles for sports properties, including Premier League, Horse Racing, Cycling, Olympics, NFL, and Combat Sports.Generate press materials, including press releases, talking points, bios, etc. Coordinate media interviews, photo shoots, and publicity opportunities.Pitch ideas and create promotional opportunities for properties and talent.Serve as a member of the NBC Sports Group Communications team and contribute to initiatives, PR campaigns, and events, as needed. Assist with maintaining press lists and the NBC Sports Group Press Box website.
The Jr. Publicist will publicize and promote NBC Sports Group programming in accordance with the overall strategy and brand positioning.
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations
Minimum (2) two years working in public relations and/or Sports industry
