Universal Kids Digital is looking for a highly-motivated Associate Content Producer with solid experience in the digital entertainment/media space.
You’ll be a strong self-starter who is comfortable working as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Sr. Content Producer, Universal Kids Digital - you’ll be charged with editing, optimizing and publishing a variety of content to UniversalKids.com, YouTube and other digital platforms.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a variety of digital production and publishing skills. In addition to creating and editing promotional copy for the .com property and Universal Kids YouTube channels, you’ll also be required to crop and edit images in Photoshop. A strong grasp of CMS platforms such as Drupal is a must and experience with video editing software is a plus.
You’ll be meticulously organized and have the ability to collaborate effectively with a multitude of departments to ensure that digital content is published in a timely and efficient manner.
You’ll play an important role in maintaining the brand integrity of Universal Kids on digital platforms and will be brimming with ideas for how to make digital content more clickable and engaging.
Create, edit and publish text and image content to UniversalKids.com
Co-ordinate with different departments to maintain a timely, accurate digital content publishing calendar
Assist with publishing content to social platforms and mobile apps as needed
Contribute ideas around new digital content experiences for YouTube and UniversalKids.com
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the media/entertainment/digital publishing space
Demonstrated experience publishing digital content within a CMS
Demonstrated experience publishing, tagging and optimizing content for YouTube
Demonstrated experience creating daily content under deadline pressure
Basic Photshop skills (cropping, optimizing etc)

Experience in the children’s entertainment space
Ability to use digital workflow platforms such as Basecamp, Confluence etc
