This position is responsible for managing all aspects of Creative on behalf of the International Cosmetics & Perfumes (ICP) brands. This person will serve as the key driver for creative and design across all mediums (print, photography, digital).  As this is a small team, the role requires a personality that can blend both creative direction and implementation, and work highly collaboratively with internal and external clients.  This Director level role will also promote and maintain the intrinsic company culture that fosters the firm’s core values of: Transparency, Recognition, Accountability and Communication.


· The ideal candidate can seamlessly create compelling and progressive brand stories through imagery and typography, while executing distinct designs for different brands, highlighting the unique nature of each brand id

· Ability to create high-caliber, elegant, clear design solutions for luxury products across digital and print media including websites, marketing emails, packaging, printed collateral, advertisements, in-store signage, event signage and invitations, and window displays

· Works under the guidance of the head of Marketing, while collaborating with marketing team members, as well as web developers, photographers and printers

· Active participant on Director Team to help progress company initiatives and processes via leadership and high performance results

· Embodies the firm’s vision to inspire our clients through beauty innovations and the narrative of luxury while championing company practices and culture

·  Seeks to promote and cultivate the company and brand awareness with external partners

·  Active participant on Director Team to help progress company initiatives and processes via leadership and high performance results

·  Manages two direct reports – Visual Merchandising Manager and Graphic Designer


· Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, or similar discipline.  Visual Merchandising experience necessary

· 5-10 years relevant experience with a creative agency or an in-house art department

· Experience designing for the luxury sector a must; beauty or fragrance industry experience strongly preferred

· Innovative thinker

· Full understanding of print production

· Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

· Excellent layout and typography skills

· Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects 

· Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment

· Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills

· Comfortable collaborating and willing to take on new challenges and opportunities as they arise

· Adaptable to change
