The Director of Talent Relations & Specials Programming is responsible for executing all business related strategy for talent development, management and relations for non-scripted programming and specials.
  • Supervises all talent relations for all non-scripted programming and specials.
  • Executes strategy for all network talent by evaluating, analyzing and recommending areas of development and coordinating requests for talent appearances.
  • Recommends training and development coaching for talent according to business strategy.
  • Analyzes the external market and makes recommendations to attract new talent.
  • Works with Business and Legal Affairs, Legal and HR to maintain track of all talent and other production selected talent (travel requirements, contact info, visas, manager/publicists).
  • Seeks and coordinates requests for talent appearances.
  • Works with the talent relations team on talent requests Premios Billboards, Premios Tu Mundo, Latin AMAs, iHeartRadio or any other Specials/Priorities.
  • Work with the publicity and specials team to invite talent to carpet, event, after party and coordinate all logistics (i.e. talent check-in tent, transport).
  • Coordinates Universal and Disney talent requests.
  • Assists in different internal requests (internal shows, live programming, specials/shows, digital, Public/Community Affairs and Publicity team, etc)
  • Act as liaison between Network, Talent Management, Producers, Publicity, Digital, Studios, etc for talent requests (promotions, events)
  • Works with manager on development and implementation of talent database; partner with Studios Talent Team as applicable.
  • Coordinate general market talent visits (welcoming committee representing Telemundo).
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.



  • • Minimum 7 years of experience in the production industry
    • Previous experience working with scripted productions
    • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
    • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Internet search engines
    • Must be able to perform job at locations in and outside work environment with varying weather conditions
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, dead-line driven environment
    • Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Customer service oriented
    • Prior experience working for a casting/talent agency or similar company
