Manager, Complex Marketing Programs

Cox Communications is seeking a Manager of Complex Marketing Programs who will report to the Director of Marketing Performance Measurement. This position will be responsible for aligning people, processes, data, vendors and technologies to deliver and monitor complex marketing programs (e.g. Campaign roll-off, speech analytics, customer on-boarding, etc.)
The Manager will lead a matrixed team that delivers customer impacting marketing programs aimed at improving revenue, ARPC and churn. This will include developing requirements, overseeing deployment and revisions, leading change management, program monitoring, and identifying issues and fixes.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter who possesses a track record of willingness and ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments and boundaries to deliver on project objectives. The Manager must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables and program execution end-to-end, and prioritize workload effectively.
Develops and maintains strong partnerships with boundary and third-party partners to ensure development of effective programs and accurate executions.
Makes presentations to peers and leaders reviewing status, issues, and plans.
Influences and partners closely with peers and leaders to implement and maintain initiatives.
Understands best practice processes and align solutions and data to optimize those processes.
Help select, configure, and integrate solutions.
Ensures solutions meet security and legal requirements.
Leads proof of concept efforts to quickly test and validate the usefulness of solutions.
Keep current with the latest technologies and techniques and advise on their implications.
Interacts with operations and technology to ensure the successful implementations.
Analyzes new business requirements, determines current performance, and builds and manages detailed project plans to implement improvements and/or corrective actions.
Partners in the development of training and adoption materials to support initiatives.
Serve as primary execution owner for programs and be responsible for excellence of execution and quality checks.
Spearhead cross functional solutions for any program issues that arise.
Partners with teams like IT, technology, marketing analytics, marketing strategy, pricing, vendors, etc.
7+ years of experience required in related field (i.e. Marketing, Project Management, etc.); OR 5+ years of experience required if candidate possesses a related advanced degree.
Requires experience with customer facing marketing programs.
Requires experience managing marketing technology.
Requires experience working within an analytics or business intelligence environment.
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. Marketing, Business, etc.).
2+ years of experience in a management role preferred.
Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
