This is a freelance role, with benefits, that will be approximately 24 hours per week.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director, Feature Programming, the Associate Producer/Editor writes, shoots, produces and edits short form and long form video/audio/visual content for SNY.

  • Provide production and edit support for all SNY feature programming content
  • Brainstorm, draft and pitch feature content for use across all platforms
  • Produce and edit short and long-form content for use across all platforms

  • Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree or higher
    • Strong editorial judgment
    • Strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in post-production editing and knowledge of Avid Applications a must
    • Must have excellent organizational skills
    • Creative thinker who can pitch different stories and improve existing shows
    • Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely, efficient manner
    • Ability to work under tight time restrictions
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment with a positive attitude
    • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Passionate sports fan with broad knowledge of the sports industry and New York market
    • Experience in Media Management a plus
    • Experience in videography a plus
