Guerrero is an executive media and communications company that recognizes, promotes, and develops great executives. We do this primarily through a suite of magazines that highlight successful business leaders across industries. Our work has allowed us to build relationships with thousands of executives. Through our media and event services, we're focused on building networks between these leaders to facilitate connections that can enhance the work they're doing at their companies and advance their careers.

Designers at Guerrero uphold our high standard of award-winning design excellence by developing holistic brand aesthetics and experiences across multiple platforms. They conceptualize and design magazines, media kits, newsletters, websites, sales & marketing collateral, reprints, event collateral, and special projects, as assigned. Designers work independently and in teams with their director, fellow designers, editors, photo editors, and other Guerrero stakeholders. They also work diligently to embody our core values of excellence, positivity, initiative, collaboration, and fun.


  • Effectively and efficiently designs all media for assigned brands and projects, meeting all deadlines
  • Actively collaborates with Creative stakeholders—including other designers—to effectively marry editorial content, photo, and design
  • Effectively executes client work and internal special projects by fulfilling creative briefs and effectively collaborating with other Guerrero stakeholders
  • Adheres to brand guidelines yet knows when to appropriately bend the rules and innovate
  • Develops and maintain style guides/libraries, ensuring colleagues have the necessary guidelines to contribute their own efforts
  • Maintains the website(s) for any assigned brands by effectively working with Guerrero stakeholders and ensuring quality control for articles
  • Effectively designs collateral and experiences for our high-caliber events, as assigned
  • Complies with established company work rules, policies, and procedures
  • Actively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies, and reduce cost
  • Cooperatively takes on other duties, roles, or responsibilities as assigned


  • B.A. in graphic design, or related field
  • 3-5 years design experience, preferably in an editorial environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to excel at working both independently and in an open, collaborative team environment
  • Excellent time management skills, including an ability to handle several projects at once
  • Proficiency with Adobe CC InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; PowerPoint; MailChimp
  • Experience with WordPress, Adobe Sketch, HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Experience designing presentations, sales materials, and marketing collateral is a plus
  • Experience with AR, animation graphics, or experience design is a plus
