IMD currently represents over 50 networks across 15 language groups and provides strategic planning, contract negotiation, channel delivery and creative multicultural marketing campaigns.


PURPOSE
Manage the video on demand content operations with a key focus on strategic planning, asset management and distribution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Key member in the full product life cycle for all international VOD services including design, launch and maintenance phases.
  • Manages the relationship between multicultural channel partners and key technology providers to ensure strategic alignment and ability to meet high quality standards.
  • Provides guidance to channel partners as they develop VOD planners, metadata, and video and creative assets.
  • Ensures assets and deliverables are secured (images, trailers, content uploads) prior to required deadlines.
  • Works closely with cross functional teams and channel partners on the development of international sales and launch opportunities.
  • Contributes to strategy discussions around new content and competitive product opportunities.
  • Provides marketplace & competitive analysis as compared to other ethnic offerings


  • Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in television & internet programming, and entertainment technology including VOD, new media and/or new platforms

  • Experience in strategic VOD scheduling, planner and asset management.
  • Knowledge of international content and experience in working with international media, cultures and ethnicities.
  • Ability to speak and/or translate non-English languages preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational & analytical skills, offer project management experience, an ability to multi-task and prioritize and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in PC: MS Word, Excel required; Power Point
