The Preditor (Producer/Editor) will be an integral part of the on-air Promotions team’s efforts in writing, producing and delivering promos for Golf Channel tournaments, emerging businesses, and original series. This person will collaborate with internal and external clients to create on-air promotions, as well as produce internal and external presentations and sizzles. Will work directly with Sr. Producers.
Effectively collaborate with team to create promos
Ability to create content across multiple platforms
Offer innovative and creative ideas that add value to video projects.
Create and execute projects from script specifications provided internally or by client.
Multi-task effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Execute efforts in delivering high quality projects with a great level of creativity under tight deadlines.
Work in conjunction with in-house designers, audio mixers, out-of-house production companies
Edit and tag materials as directed
Gather video and graphic resources for projects
Interact with voice-over talent and handle recording sessions
May be responsible for other duties, as assigned.
Degree in digital media, broadcasting, TV/film or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 4+ years of promotions editing, writing and execution.
Must be proficient in Premiere, After Effects
Must be organized, detailed and have excellent communication skills.
Working knowledge of compression tools and formats.
Ability to handle multiple projects with strict deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
Strong understanding of video & audio production
Knowledge of golf, top players, and various tournaments.
Familiar with on-set production
Photography & shooting experience a bonus
Some travel may be required
Must be able to work nights, weekends and/or odd hours depending on telecast schedule.
Strong sound design skills a plus
This individual takes initiative and is self-motivated
Is engaged, informed and interested in the sport, shows, and content that we promote
Is comfortable working in a group environment, and possesses strong interpersonal skills
Trustworthy, responsible, and reliable
Motion graphics or traditional design background desired.
