Universal’s Games & Digital Platforms division is looking for a social media marketing specialist to join our performance marketing/user acquisition team. Reporting to our Sr. Director, Performance Marketing, this person will be instrumental in growing Universal’s gaming network. This manager will be data-driven, results oriented, creative and have the ability to examine how performance-driven social advertising differs from other aspects of digital marketing. Ideal candidates are naturally curious, will know the ins and outs of buying on social platforms, strive to stay on top of the ever-changing trends and are experts at executing testing plans while maintaining scale.

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee and manage a growing performance marketing portfolio on Facebook
  • Use a data-driven approach to evaluate, analyze and execute strategies for paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat optimizing against ROAS and LTV
  • Organize strategy sessions and creative brainstorms with cross functional teams to establish streamlined campaign execution across multiple targets, geos, platforms and/or demographics
  • Provide weekly and monthly KPI reports to senior members of the marketing and leadership team
  • Effectively communicate with advertising partners to drive efficient campaign performance and scale
  • Use data to drive marketing decisions

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, finance, economics or equivalent
  • 2+ years successfully managing results-oriented customer acquisition campaigns across various media channels
  • Expert knowledge in paid social media advertising, specifically Facebook and Instagram
  • Proven ability managing and efficiently optimizing large budgets across a portfolio
  • Experience working in a metric-driven role focused on ROI
  • Proven Data Analysis and Excel experience

    Desired Characteristics:

  • Aptitude to work outside of your comfort zone and get things done quickly
  • Experience working in gaming industry a plus
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience working with data visualization tools a plus. i.e.. Tableau or Looker
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a plus
