Manager, Brand Marketing, SYFY
Role PurposeThe Manager of Brand Marketing is responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of all consumer marketing campaign efforts. The Manager will be part of a highly motivated and driven Brand Marketing team and will work closely with multiple internal departments - including Creative, Production, Digital, and Publicity – as well as external media agencies to support all consumer marketing activity. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing.

Responsibilities:Work closely with media buying agencies to develop on-strategy paid multi-platform marketing campaigns (original programming and genre campaigns) – ensuring that all plans are efficiently reaching audiencesOversee timelines, key deliverables, and execution of all media campaign elements – including digital, television, and outdoor – and meeting deadlines within assigned budgetsCollaborate with team coordinator to develop campaign overview documents and presentations - which includes key messaging, strategic direction, and overall marketing tactics; shared with all internal and external partnersParticipate in all campaign creative and media briefing sessions, as well as weekly status meetingsReview creative assets (video, messaging, copy, etc.), ensuring brand accuracy and consistency within each campaignContribute to strategic development and implementation of paid digital creative – as well as SYFY’s YouTube channel managementAct as Brand Lead on select network projects, keeping regular communication between internal departments and ensuring cohesive campaigns across all disciplinesWork with outside agencies and internal Research on obtaining and analyzing key data for campaignsManage each media campaign’s budget, working with the team coordinator to track spending and process invoices – while also maintaining quarterly pacing and accrual trackers to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Provide Affiliate materials (show descriptions, one-sheets, images/key art, clips, spots) and fulfill Digital Distribution creative asset requests
  • Keep abreast of trends in the marketplace, especially competitively within the Entertainment spaceManage team coordinator, as well as the NBCU Page

    Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum 3 years of marketing and media planning/execution skills in the television entertainment industry
    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
