The TR Social Media team works with brands and influencers to develop their end-to-end social media marketing and content strategies, as well as manages their day-to-day publishing, engagement, and community management. Clients vary across industries, with brands in the luxury real-estate business and nutrition and influencers in the reality television and modeling industries. This team is made up of highly creative individuals and requires a teammate who can bring that same spirit while also providing organization and structure to a laid-back environment.



The Social Media team seeks a social media expert to strategize, manage, and execute editorial content and paid marketing across clients’ social platforms.



This role will raise awareness and increase engagement for all clients on the TR roster, work within each client’s branding to develop their social media presence, and create organic, relevant conversations across all social media platforms in real-time through photo, video, and text. The ideal candidate is creative, forward-thinking, and data-driven.



This person will have proven experience finding and engaging key audiences on social media, developing creative and engaging campaigns, managing social platforms, and using analytics tools to better understand social media audience and performance.



The position reports to the VP, Digital Strategy.






  • Work closely with the VP of digital strategy to execute a comprehensive social media strategy—leading copy and messaging development, platform prioritization, publishing,


    community management and posting initiatives across owned and partner social channels.


    Leverage social media to amplify product/trade campaigns, earned media, product launches, and events.


    Own editorial content calendar, including:


         -Identifying stories/initiatives to highlight


         -Scheduling content strategically throughout the month


         -Working closely with creative team and external agency to develop social assets


    Routing content for approval from external stakeholders.


    Run community management with a strong understanding of how and when to engage.


    Aid in managing smaller budget paid media campaigns across platforms.


    Help execute digital influencer strategy across channels and initiatives.


    Lead and take part in behind-the-scenes social media efforts at TR and client events


    Maintain relationship with social media platform partners and stay up-to-date on new tools and products.


    Understand, monitor, and predict social media trends and use that to inform social content and strategy.


    Deliver detailed reporting and measurement on a monthly basis.


    Translate social sentiment and engagement into strategic insights to help inform marketing and paid media decisions.


    ·        Knowledge and use of social media management and analytics tools (HootSuite, SproutSocial, IconoSquare, Buffer, etc.)




    ·        Strong organizational and project management skills


    ·        Passion and intellectual curiosity around emerging technologies, social trends and content marketing


    ·        Must be a self-starter


    ·        Must be able to develop and maintain relationships and work across cross-functional teams


    ·        Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills


    ·        Photoshop, photography, basic graphic design skills a plus


    ·        Must be flexible, agile and nimble




    ·        3+ years of social experience at a brand or agency


    ·        A bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of professional experience


    ·        Deep and thorough knowledge of social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) – for both paid and organic
