Cox Automotive is seeking a Product Manager with experience managing software, web, and API products in an Agile Product environment to join our team in Atlanta, GA.
Who We Are + What We DoThe Enterprise Channel Solutions (ECS) Team within Cox Automotive provides our largest clients with integrated software solutions for inventory, advertising, website and automotive retailing. The JobWithin the Enterprise Channel Solutions product team, there is a strong client focus, building and extending product-based solutions for top automotive brands. You will be responsible for both new product development and feature enhancements of existing products that could be owned by other teams. Specifically, you will be the product leader for a scrum team within the Partner Solutions Engineering Release Train, focusing on the deployment and customization of Cox’s premier Digital Retailing platform – Accelerate. 
A successful candidate will be passionate about expanding our product functionality, demonstrate composure when dealing with demanding clients, and be comfortable talking directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
As a Product Manager, you are a key member of the Cox product team, and are responsible for delivering customer value with each development team sprint. You have experience managing a product lifecycle from inception through implementation. You can successfully deliver value to the customer by defining & documenting client requirements, appropriately managing priorities, and validating that customer expectations are met. The Product Manager must also possess a strong technical background in order to work closely with technical leadership to understand and prioritize the technical needs of the platform.
To be successful as a Product Manager, you are a servant leader who is comfortable navigating internal and external challenges to ensure that product roadmap, requirements, and deliverables are all in alignment.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with clients, stakeholders, scrum team members, and other product managers to bring solutions to market that clearly deliver or exceed KPI’sExtract business goals and value to be delivered; track against KPI’sDefine feature requirements and acceptance criteria for complex web-based solutionsPrioritize work across multiple clients in a time-sensitive environment; understand business context for prioritizationConsistently manage both internal stakeholder and external client expectationsDevelop & deliver internal product and client facing roadmaps, consisting of both client and Cox Automotive prioritiesCollaborate with - and present to - product, engineering, and business leadership Lead daily scrum and Feature grooming sessions. Participate in various agile ceremonies including sprint reviews, stakeholder meetings, and retros.Other responsibilities as definedQualifications:What We Look For:
  • Bachelor’s degree within a related field of study or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience within a software development organization 
  • Relevant experience should include software, website development, and API products & services
  • Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) based environment is preferable
  • Understanding of business drivers and how those relate to software delivery
  • Experience managing a software product lifecycle, including client roadmaps
  • Understanding and experience as a servant leader
  • Appropriate technical depth in order to fluently converse with developers and architects, while also communicating value delivery to business leadership
  • Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Automotive industry and interactive marketing experience is desirable but not required
