Nature of Work

The Digital Creative Consultant, vital to Cox Media Group Ohio’s success, will work with our clients, sales team and digital operations team to ensure successful client digital campaigns.  This individual will consult with and provide strategic guidance on digital creative that aligns with client goals & KPIs.  Candidates must be able to self-manage and prioritize workload within a deadline driven environment.  The Digital Creative Consultant will translate information provided by the sales organization into a comprehensive digital creative recommendation that aligns with the traditional (television, radio, newspaper) media campaign message.  This role requires exemplary customer service provided to internal clients as well as direct collaboration with external clients as needed.  Candidates must be familiar with the functionality of digital platforms and products and be comfortable working in an ever changing, fast-paced environment.

  Responsibilities
  • Provide creative consultation to ensure success of all digital campaigns
  • Oversee consistent messaging that aligns with digital campaign goals across multimedia campaigns
  • Responsible for maintaining process, entry and optimization requests of all digital creative
  • Understand campaign goals and ensure creative needs are met
  • Be an active participant in the group, collaborating with teammates and the sales organization in a thoughtful and proactive way
  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Work closely other members of the Digital Advertising Operations & Sales Strategist Teams to communicate digital creative needs and recommendations
  • Complete creative ordering requests as needed while providing guidance on digital creative best practices
  • Provide regular communication to Media Consultants on digital creative recommendations and optimizations
  • Support automotive co-op creative process as assigned
  • Work in conjunction with our Digital Sales Strategist, Sales Leads & Media Consultant to capture digital campaign strategy and translate successfully via creative in various formats – social, video, display, retargeting, etc.
  • Write copy for digital media adverting placements across multiple platforms including social media and standard display
  • Coordinate with team members to gather images, logos and ad copy to use in various creative projects
  • Charged with regular campaign performance reporting throughout and at the end of the campaign
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a digital environment
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and process management skills
  • Strong understanding of the digital media environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding computer skills including solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn and operate internal computer programs, systems and software
  • Knowledge of DFP/DoubleClick for Publishers, WideOrbit, ServiceNow or DFP Sales Manager a bonus
  • Strong and proven customer service experience
  • Ability to manage multiple daily tasks
  • Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Self-motivated and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong focus on teamwork and ability to manage relationships across multiple departments
  • Results oriented with great attention to detail
  • Able to apply creative thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills
