vAuto, a Cox Automotive Brand, is currently looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. The Product Manager will work closely with customers, engineering teams and business leaders to design, launch and refine our SaaS products for the automotive industry.  A successful Product Manager will own the vision and definition of our products and bring a passion for developing software that contributes significantly to the bottom-line.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the vision and definition of the product
  • Interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders to identify market opportunities and customer needs
  • Build, prune, maintain and prioritize the product backlog
  • Collaborate with SCRUM team to define iteration content based on backlog priority and team sizing
  • Ensure user stories contain adequate detail and acceptance criteria for implementation
  • Accept user stories into the product baseline
  • Plan and coordinate software releases
  • Collaborate directly with software and QA engineers on the SCRUM team
  • Demonstrate new product features and functionality after each iteration
  •  

    Qualifications:


    Experience
    with web-based software products is required
    Experience
    in a Product/Application Owner/Manager role is required
    5+
    years of experience in a software development organization required
    2+
    years of experience with Agile/SCRUM software development required
    Bachelor’s
    degree or equivalent experience
    Excellent
    written and verbal communication
    Experience with business to business SaaS software is
    preferred
