Role Purpose
The Director of Digital Video will be responsible for managing team of video producers within the NBC Sports Group for execution and delivery of creative and original video content for the distribution across all platforms with the overarching goal of building, driving and retaining traffic.


Responsibilities
  • Lead creative team to produce video content for NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports App and the NBC Sports YouTube channel
  • Generate ideas and experiment with new formats and content types around NBC Sports’ key tent-pole sports (NFL, NHL, Premier League, NASCAR, Triple Crown, etc.)
  • Work with NBC Sports Digital, Social, Linear TV and Sales teams to map out content plan
  • Keep track of viral trends and create content to complement them


  • Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • Minimum six (6) years’ experience as a digital content producer in sports, news, entertainment, animation or filmmaking



    Additional Skills Required
    • Proficient in Avid, Adobe After Effects and Photoshop
    • Understanding of digital/social analytics
