Overview

The Sales Marketing Director serves the marketing needs for the sales teams of our continued and Simucase businesses. Responsible for the strategy, development and execution of sales enablement marketing materials and services. This position will work collaboratively with internal sales teams, creative, the larger marketing team, business intelligence, product, and external clients. The Director will partner with sales teams of the following products to provide marketing direction, collateral and support:

  • Simucase
  • continued Group Sales & Career Center
  • AudiologyOnline corporate partners (division of continued)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and execute Simucase marketing including sales collateral, direct marketing, print ads, trade shows/events, website updates, and digital marketing campaigns. Serve as Simucase marketing expert and liaison for the rest of the marketing team
  • Provide strategy and oversight for continued direct sales marketing collateral materials and campaigns including media kits, flyers, presentations, website support pages, list procurement, email and direct mail campaigns, trade show planning and support
  • Oversee client services related to our partner advertisers. This includes onboarding of new partners, recommendations for program improvement, video shoots, and analytics. Assist with day-to-day client service activities as necessary
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Director of Marketing Acquisition to maximize opportunities between individual sales and direct group sales, particularly when there is crossover in prospects and event marketing
  • Manage sales marketing support budget and expenses
  • Manage and support current highly skilled Sales Marketing Manager

Performance Measurements

The Sales Marketing Director will be held accountable and performance will be evaluated on the ability to:

  • Positively influence the attainment of sales targets by successful and timely development and execution of sales marketing initiatives;
  • Achieve the highest levels of client/corporate partner satisfaction and loyalty through client service support;
  • Communicate with leadership and the wider team effectively and in a timely manner; and
  • Multitask and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of marketing experience with 2+ years sales support or enablement preferred
  • Deep knowledge of group sales marketing strategies, and experience building demand generation programs
  • Experience across marketing channels including direct, database, digital, as well as on-site and event-based marketing including trade shows
  • Track record of building relationships with sales teams and supporting their success
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, proficiency in prioritizing and multitasking in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Other Requirements

  • US resident, eligible to work in the US full-time
  • Able to work from home during regular business hours
  • Travel is required for an annual company meeting and periodic travel required for conferences, client meetings, and video shoots throughout the year
