Full Time, one of the nation’s leading small business media companies, is seeking a production editor with CMS production skills and copy editing skills to join our editorial team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong copy editing background (including knowledge of AP Style) and have some experience with online production work, including HTML coding and image editing.

This editor will work with the BusinessNewsDaily and editorial teams to edit and produce business product and service reviews and feature stories, and work with the marketing, engineering and product teams to ensure those pages are properly designed and produced according to company standards. You will be responsible for fact-checking articles and reviews and will serve as the final quality assurance check on content before it goes live.

This role requires a keen attention to detail and precise execution in a fast-paced environment. You must possess extraordinary communication skills, strong project management skills and be extremely well organized. You must be a problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet and proactively act in the best interests of the team. You must be flexible with changing priorities and willing to try new things. You also must be able to troubleshoot technical issues and work with the engineering team to fix any bugs that arise in the system.

This is a full-time staff position, and the ideal candidate will have two to three years of related editing and web production experience. Knowledge in business areas is a plus. This position is based in our Waltham, Massachusetts, office, but you will report to a manager who is not in that office. (The content team is based in New York, but this individual will be based at our corporate headquarters.)

Our readers rely on us to help them start and grow their businesses and make important buying decisions. Our partners rely on us to connect them with motivated and interested consumers. You would serve in the middle of those two objectives and be key in the creation of quality journalism.

Please submit a resume and cover letter.
