The Position
Are you a current student or recent graduate looking to gain journalism experience in a unique environment? Are you an enthusiastic, burgeoning reporter looking to grow in a unique environment? The groundbreaking investigative news site WhoWhatWhy is looking for apprentices to join our reporting team. You will work from your location, learning the craft of exceptional investigative journalism from experienced editors. This is an extraordinary opportunity to learn how to be a specialized, nuanced journalist. This position is initially a volunteer role, with opportunities for payment down the line if you show exceptional promise.
Expectations
We are looking for a passionate go-getter who is eager to learn under the guidance and supervision of our politics editor and editorial team. You must be willing to commit to do this job for a minimum of 6 months. This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Because our staff is spread throughout the world, we communicate mostly online. All staff are required to respond to emails on a daily basis. If you possess a high level of self-motivation, work well independently, strive for excellence, and can commit quality time to refining your journalism skills and producing solid work, please apply.
