The Client Solutions Strategist is responsible for providing
solution expertise and driving revenue growth for the largest and most complex
dealer groups of Cox Automotive, leveraging the Enterprise Dealer Partner (EDP)
strategic account management framework and Challenger skills. The team member
works in conjunction with EDP Account Directors, peers on the support team, and
with field sales and performance management teams during account planning, the
sales process, and ongoing client performance assessments to deliver expertise and
menu selling across the HomeNet spectrum of products, including: Inventory Online
Vehicle Merchandising and Syndication, SnapLot360, Photo Backgrounding, Video,
etc.



 




Responsibilities:



  • Engages with clients to understand
    their needs, level of readiness and accordingly recommends, launches, and monitors
    a tailored strategy to help the clients achieve specific business outcomes and
    KPIs, while growing revenue for Cox Automotive.

  • Interfaces with dealership level
    team members, including c-suite, during strategic dealer visits and planning
    sessions as required to gather data and process information to inform the wider
    client sales strategy.

  • Fully understands the automotive
    retail merchandising/marketing domain and how the various HomeNet’s solutions
    fit. Understand the various Cox Automotive businesses and connection points
    between these solutions and HomeNet and how Cox Automotive delivers value to
    the clients as a whole. The role has the added responsibility of interfacing
    directly with senior level team members within the Cox Automotive business
    units, including HomeNet, to ensure alignment on client strategy while shaping
    our connected solution approach to meet the needs of our clients.

  • Operates within the EDP strategic
    account management framework, leveraging the Challenger skills to achieve
    financial and operational targets for both the client and Cox Automotive.

  • Delivers expertise across all
    aspects of the HomeNet solution, crafting tailored client strategies including
    product recommendations, launch and implementation strategies, and performance
    monitoring on a consistent basis including changes to the client strategy as
    required to achieve key client focused metrics and KPIs.

  • Can demonstrate a deep technical
    understanding of HomeNet products, including the individual set of products and
    associated product roadmap, ability to demo and speak to both the dealer and
    consumer journeys.

  • Partners with peers on the Client Support,
    Account Management and the Analytics team to maintain a strong client
    relationship, build and deliver key client performance metrics, including new
    product recommendations to improve performance.

  • Partners with the Client Solution
    Architect to assess the intersection of client goals and Cox Automotive
    technical capabilities to recommend solutions that limit customization while
    gathering input to shape the long-term product roadmap

  • Provide thought leadership and
    direction on how solutions and products add financial and strategic value for
    each client, based on knowledge of industry, business economics, and strategic
    issues



















 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or
    combination of education and experience, 7+ years of outside sales experience in
    a multi-platform product environment preferred. 

  • 5+ years of experience
    in sales selling software products and services to large dealer groups.

  • Collaborative team selling
    experience.

  • Knowledge of automotive dealership
    operations strongly preferred.

  • Excellent time management,
    organization, and task prioritization skills.

  • Travel:
    Minimum 25% up to 50% depending on client’s needs
