•Gather news information and prepare accurate news reports for broadcasts, on line and social media
•Write news stories on a daily basis for station's newscasts, recorded programs and/or other live station broadcasts - either in the studio or out on location
•Work directly with news team on story ideas and development
•Present completed news stories that are accurate, journalistically sound, fair and balanced while meeting on-air deadlines
•Report live during newscasts and breaking news as needed, either in studio or in the field
•Will develop on-going sweeps and special stories
•Builds relationships with community and contacts for developing story leads
•Represent Telemundo throughout the year in community related events both within, and outside of, regular working hours
•Adlib news information during daily live shots and breaking news with flawless execution
•Strong engagement on digital platforms, develop and drive relevant content

• B.A. in Journalism or related field
• At least 3 years of TV reporting, writing, and solid live-shot reporting experience
• Past success with roles exhibiting strong story-telling skills
• Excellent Spanish writing and speaking skills
• Solid English language skills
• Proven ability to perform under tight deadlines
• Solid Knowledge and experience with social media engagement and digital content
• Willingness to work weekends, late evenings, mornings and cover other shifts and breaking news

• Must be willing to work extended hours, varying shifts (including nights, weekends and holidays) and report to work in emergencies when required
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
