The Manager of Social Programming is responsible for programming content online from the hours of 6:00am-3:00pm and one day of weekend coverage with a focus on community management and trend reports for a network show.
  • Highlight all morning trends, news stories, and editorial opportunities and identify which areas we should capitalize on
  • Review and analyze early video and social post numbers and create content in response
  • Release and develop creative copy around early morning content to capture press attention and promote upcoming guests for nightly show
  • Liaise with talent and press team to provide materials after the show
  • Create interesting, thoughtful, on-brand and in-voice copy for asset distribution
  • Q/C and optimize each piece of creative content that is released
  • Respond to direct messages across all platforms
  • Engage fans daily within each post
  • Create custom content for online distribution
  • Work with designer to develop custom social content for release

  • Qualifications/Requirements :
    -3+ years minimum experience in digital field, analytics and editorial experience a plus
    -Copywriting experience a plus
    -Must have Photoshop experience
    -Final Cut Pro or Premiere experience a plus
