Role Purpose
The Scrum Master, Playmaker Video Platform will be responsible for day-to-day scrum management of the teams responsible for delivering the Playmaker Video SDK, managing scrum rituals, scoping work, balancing operational and strategic tickets, and delivering scheduled commitments.


Responsibilities
  • Manage full SDLC - from requirement intake, feature grooming, resource planning, sprint execution, and code acceptance through deployment
  • Manage daily development scrums and lead SDLC-focused meetings
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to achieve project goals
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time within scope
  • Effectively communicate across all stakeholders in the organization
  • Working with the Platform Manager, manage platform roadmap, defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and availability
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation repositories for both internal resources (technical documentation) and external consumers (release and integration documentation)


  • Basic Qualifications
    • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in software development project management or a similar role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills
    • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project/product management, and strong formal presentation abilities
    • Expertise with the SDLC process, with a focus in resource allocation, deployment management and cadence, and working with third-party vendors alongside in-house development teams
    • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience with software development, digital video, and web technologies
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Software Engineering, equivalent experience, PMP or PSM certification
    • Experience in Television/Broadcast, Digital Media, Cloud/Platform Operations, or related field preferred
    • Experience with interactive media, mobile design & app development preferred
    • Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and proactive in solving issues
