WNBC is looking for a photojournalist, non-linear editor, and truck operator proficient with microwave and streaming technologies. Candidate should be familiar with P2 workflow and Adobe Premiere or similar professional news gathering equipment. Must have a proven track record shooting and editing compelling stories and breaking news in a fast paced, live TV deadline driven environment.
Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a large TV news market
Proficient at properly lighting live shots a must
Monitoring audio and using the appropriate mic depending on the situation
Using good judgement in a chaotic environment, dealing with the public
Always utilizing safe practices and maintaining situational awareness
Available to work weekends, various shifts and overtime on short notice
Willing to work any shift needed
Willing to travel
Must have a valid driver’s license
Follow and adhere to all NBC EHS requirements
Must join NABET, Natl. Assoc. of Broadcast Employees and Technicians
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Experience shooting investigative pieces
Familiarity with Panasonic P2 cameras and Adobe Premiere
KU satellite IP experience
