Artworks is seeking a Graphics Coordinator. The Graphic Coordinator facilitates work orders from multiple production teams to a single pool of graphic artists that handle daily, topical graphic orders on MSNBC. The coordinator acts as the bridge between the control room and the art department. Live television news can create high intensity situations and in this role you are given a front-row seat to the action. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to apply a steady hand to these situations when they arise.

The coordinator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Distributing orders to available artists and prioritizing work, based on deadline and length of effort
  • Managing change requests from editorial teams
  • Facilitating problem solving when work orders fall outside of realistic expectations of what can be done
  • Ensuring that work is delivered to playback devices when complete


  • Basic Qualifications:
    • 2+ years of relevant work experience within the media industry
    • Bachelor’s Degree

    • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
    • Knowledge of Avid iNews
    • Previous experience working with VizRt Graphics platform
