Calling all social media lovers! We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator for Universal Kids, a TV network with content for kids ages 2-12 and their families. The Coordinator will support day-to-day posting and management of Universal Kids’ social media pages as well as support and manage paid campaigns. She/he should have strong working knowledge of core social media platforms, be very organized understand both social content best practices as well as analytics, and have a passion for driving a brand message in the evolving social media environment.

  • Write, schedule and post content for owned social media channels, reflecting the point of view and promoting the brand and key properties
  • Update editorial calendars and track creative asset development
  • Liase with show creators, talent and other key stakeholders to provide social content updates and requests
  • Participate in brainstorms with the internal Brand Creative team to develop social content
  • Work closely in executing campaign support for priority shows. Ideate, coordinate, and oversee production of content plans for show launch and sustainment
  • With community manager, monitor social media platforms and ensure social media guidelines are adhered to including removal of red-flagged or inappropriate content
  • Work with Sales/Integrated Marketing team execute client opportunities; Implement added-value and Symphony opportunities for advertisers, partnerships and sister networks
  • Flag real-time, relevant and appropriate opportunities to insert our brand into key conversations
  • Stay current with industry trends and the competition. Experiment with emerging platforms, technologies and dynamic activity that impact the social landscape

    • Bachelor’s degree

    Skills desired:
    • Social Media experience, specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Very organized
    • Innate interest in keeping up with social and industry trends
    • Kids’ content or regulated industry experience a plus
