The Advertising Associate will be responsible for the development of annual advertising plan, including both print and online ads. Under supervision of the Vice President of Marketing, the Advertising Manager will develop a thoughtful and effective school-year ad plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure strategic coordination on featured product selection/timing with other marketing department members.
Stay abreast of new tools and propose test ad units and test media
Develop relationships with ad sales reps from appropriate media.
Negotiate best possible terms for Benchmark Education.
Maintain an advertising budget.
Meet all reservation deadlines.
Provide regular analysis of advertising effectiveness.
BA/BS in Marketing, English or a related field is required.
3-5 years’ advertising experience in in a company or agency with print and digital advertising experience
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented, accurate and flexible
Able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities under pressure
Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
