Digital Marketing Manager Temp
This position is responsible for working with key strategic partners, namely Facebook/Instagram, Snap, AdWords/YouTube, Twitter, Reddit and LinkedIn, to fully leverage and optimize their media donations to the Ad Council. The role contributes to each part of both the partnership and marketing lifecycles: relationship management, strategic planning, thoughtful execution, analysis and reporting, learning and iteration, and thought leadership within the organization.
In addition to strategy and execution, this role also requires a deep knowledge of social ad platforms and products as well as the ability to manage an external production vendor.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Lead strategic rollouts for campaigns once selected to receive donated media, from media planning to managing ad builds and the optimization that follows Monitor and analyze reporting, including Google Analytics when driving to site, to inform future programs and iterations Stay current on new digital opportunities and ad products across key partnerships and share out internally Explore new, innovative ways to drive impact for Ad Council's campaign issues with strategic partners that also meet partner goals, i.e. measurement studies Provide thought leadership by identifying and monitoring changes and new trends in media and advertising technology and share learnings with the Ad Council
- Attend digital/mobile/social/tech conferences. Speak on panels when opportunities arise to keep the Ad Council brand relevant within the digital/marketing communities Participate in educational opportunities, join professional organizations and attend networking events to meet new players in the digital marketing space
- Education- Bachelor's Degree Experience- 2+ years in digital marketing with an emphasis on paid social, experience with media planning/buying a plus Specific Skills- The successful candidate for this role will be influential, proactive, analytical, organized, and exhibit excellent communication skills. Ability to interact with clients is a must. Agency experience preferred. Specialized Knowledge- Proficient in targeting, building and optimizing ads on social platforms like Facebook and Twitter. Knowledge of Google Analytics preferred.

The Ad Council team uses all the tools in the communications arsenal including developing PSAs and social media content, engaging talent, gaming, conducting media relations and grassroots marketing, and creating chat bots, digital and live events to raise awareness around social causes. We also have the opportunity to work with Board of Directors companies such as Amazon, Facebook, Google/YouTube, Snap, Pandora and Upworthy to leverage the latest tactics, tools and platforms that will have the most significant social impact.
