This Associate Producer position is a part of the MSNBC Meet the Press Daily team. The AP will assist producers across multiple show hours with locating, viewing, and editing videotape for broadcast. The AP needs to be up-to-date on show rundowns to ensure that all video footage is accurate, in place, and is current. The AP must also be able to quickly turnaround video while on-air and during breaking news situations.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in live television including morning shows, cable shows, and broadcast TV
• At least 1 year of tape and editing experience required
• Must be proficient with desktop editing
