Interns in this role will work with the Quality Assurance and System Integration department. They will facilitate the QA testing effort by managing new projects from a Lab Administration point of view. They will also resolve issues that arise during testing by troubleshooting against a vast array of web services and databases. They are responsible for understanding and configuring test environments with new and existing code along with setting up network rules and access for users, new code, and external systems. Interns will become familiar with new projects by attending meetings, reading documentation, and working with development and QA teams. They will also communicate with the various project teams to ensure that all issues, questions, and alerts are received and understood throughout the testing cycles.

  • Completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree between December 2019 and June 2020 with preferred concentrations in Computer science, Information Science or a related field

    • Troubleshooting/Problem Solving
    • Linux
    • Windows (administration)
    • Java Web services
    • Database (SQL, Mongo)
    • Basic Networking
    • Documentation
