  • Support for Director, Western Region Publicity & Promotion
    • Compile data for all regional initiatives from agencies
    • Identify unique promotional opportunities in all Western regional markets
    • Strategize unique publicity / promotional initiatives for all films for the Field team as well as National Publicity
  • Screenings
    • Collect print shipping requests from all Western region field offices, compile, proof for accuracy, and submit to Branch
    • Order anti-piracy security for all Western region field screenings
    • Book Los Angeles and Orange County screenings and security
    • Print tickets and recruit all Los Angeles and Orange County screenings
    • Cover all Los Angeles screenings
    • Book screening reps to cover all screenings in Orange County as well as any Los Angeles screenings they are not able to personally cover
    • Track Los Angeles and Orange County prints and pre-show content (social media card, spots)
    • Assist in troubleshooting with missing pre-show content (social media card, spots) across the western region
    • Maintain all VIP lists for Los Angeles and Orange County screenings as well as passing along VIP requests for seats to the regional markets
  • Screening reports – Compile and proof all Western region screening reports
  • Regional Events – Travel to regional markets, as needed, for on the ground event coordination and execution
  • Press junkets – Work all local junkets, as needed
  • Publicity – Assist Director with junket invitations, solicitation and compilation of press reactions, quotes, air dates/run dates from Western region press
  • Premieres – Work all local premieres, as needed
  • Long Lead Press Days/Custom Content Days – Work all long lead press days, as needed
  • Publicity & Digital Team Events – Work and submit recaps for all local publicity and digital team events, as needed
  • Promo items
    • Assist in planning, developing, and ordering of promotional items
    • Distribute promotional items to events in Los Angeles and Orange County
    • Divide up promotional items for all western region field agencies
  • Costume Tours
    • Research, pitch, plan, and execute Los Angeles costume character appearances
    • Rent necessary vehicles / equipment to execute Los Angeles appearances
    • Book performers for all local appearances
    • Handle performer invoicing
    • Book performer travel to regional markets as needed
    • Maintain multiple calendars of events for all character appearances throughout the Western region
    • Continually assess if Los Angeles costumes are clean and in working order
    • Compile regional budgets for character appearances
  • Breaks – Compile and distribute daily breaks
  • Materials – Order ticket shells, one-sheets, mini-posters, EPK’s, trailers, standees and other materials, as needed
  • Weekly Updates – Compile, proof and submit weekly updates for all films

  • Basic Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in the entertainment industry, specifically in marketing, publicity or promotions
  • Minimum 2 years experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
