The Inside Business Development Consultant (IBDC) is responsible for growing business with new independent dealers and targeted Business Development Consultant accounts. They will be responsible for identifying and closing new business with small independent and franchise dealers.Meet or exceed sales goals by being an industry expert and highly skilled closerResearch prospects and understand their businessManage a lead prospecting pipeline and with accurate information about potential clientsGenerate new business via outbound calls and virtual demonstration of Cox Automotive solutions and products to prospective customers Maintain a high sales cadence to maximize client interactionsManage and overcome prospect objections in order to secure qualified meetings and close the saleGenerate qualified leads for Business Development ConsultantsPrepare and conduct lead handoff call to provide context and background to Business Development ConsultantLeverage marketing content to nurture and monitor key dealer contact engagementConsistently and effectively communicate the value proposition of CAMSGWarm up market for new product launches through targeted dealer outreachWork closely with field Business Development Consultants to identify, generate and close new businessMaintain strong product knowledge on all products and solutionsUtilize Salesforce and other provided tools to accurately and effectively track activity and to update lead opportunities and account informationProactively communicate account and sales information, as well as challenges, to both sales management and Dealer Success Consultants as appropriateAll other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Required:HS Diploma Required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years proven experience in a sales revenue generation rolePrevious experience and a proven high level of success presenting/selling solutions to clientsAbility to travel within regional geography, with occasional overnight staysAbility to travel outside of territory for meetings, training, etc.Valid driver’s licenseDemonstrated proficiency and knowledge in various technologies
Preferred:Strong understanding of the specific market as it relates to automotive and digital mediaDemonstrated and complete understanding of Cox Automotive Media solutions; general understanding of all other Cox Automotive companiesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsHighly proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.Previous experience using Salesforce.com
