Job Description:

A local energy company in the Spring area is looking for a part time Corporate Communications Advisor to start by the end of February 2019. This will be an ONSITE project for 20 hours a week.

The Corporate Communications Advisor will produce communications plans and materials to enhance the corporate reputation for the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Manage routine news inquires and create responses

+ Managing daily news media about the company

+ Assist in creating an annual social media content calendar

+ Anticipate new and trending content in the energy world

+ Manage daily social media traffic

+ Create all internal communications including: Intranet content, annual calendar content, writing news stories

+ Assist in updating internal marketing materials such as: PPT, Fact Sheets, White Papers, Brochures, Web Content

REQUIREMENTS:

+ 5-7 year of experience

+ Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Mass Communications

+ Understanding of Oil and Gas Industry

+ Experience in crisis communications

+ Understanding of AP style

+ Extremely organized and able to think creatively
