This position will serve as a Multimedia Account Manager, with focus on managing pre and post sales responsibilities for assigned accounts. This individual may complete same duties for accounts in other verticals, as needed. This individual is responsible for building advertiser relationships while working in a collaborative sales environment. This person will process orders accurately and on time and handle inbound calls/requests from clients. In addition, this position will provide account support to the outside sales team. Ongoing pre-sales activities will include compiling research, presentation development, account set up, maintenance and billing. This individual is also tasked with digital campaign reporting and storytelling for accounts. On this team, clients expect us to function as strategic advisors as well as media partners due to investment levels. Being able to advise on future strategy based on interpretation of campaign results is critical.
  • Act as sales support for the Local Majors AE’s. 
  • Pre-sales responsibilities include marketing research, store location analysis, presentation development and category intelligence.  
  • Manage post sales fulfillment of all assigned accounts working collaboratively with ad ops, DRO, and sales team/management to proactively grow and retain new & current advertisers. 
  • Utilize sales automation systems to manage day to day activity and update AE and manager on sales performance through system generated reports.
  • Generate necessary paperwork to order/flight all digital campaigns.
  • Provide detailed campaign reporting to focus on client KPIs making client retention a priority.   
  • Work with the FRC and Ad Ops to ensure all billing and invoicing issues are handled on a timely basis.
  • Serve as liaison with Marketing, Audience, Ad Ops, News, Leads and Revenue Content team for development of creative sales execution/sponsorship opportunities for assigned accounts. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years or more of experience is preferred
  • Media experience is desired
  • Digital experience is a plus
