Oversee production for live event and related-studio programming for the NBC Sports Regional Networks, under the supervision of the SVP, Content and Live Programming Create and reinforce content and production strategies including oversight of the “one Content Team” philosophy and sharing best practices across all regional networksAssist regional Coordinating Producers in overseeing all live sports remote telecasts including but not limited to MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, college and high school, to ensure successful telecasts Assist regional personnel in overseeing all studio pre- and post-game show production including but not limited to MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL and MLS to ensure successful programs Assist regional General Managers in managing regional Coordinating ProducersAssist regional Coordinating Producers in managing on-air talent and above-the-line production personnel Explore and recommend emerging technologies to improve the level of innovation and work flow methods of live production Build and maintain external relationships with mobile unit production vendors and other technology vendors, including data and statistics providers Build and maintain external relationship with league broadcast personnel Build and maintain internal NBC Sports Group relationships with all content, sales, marketing, creative services, finance, human resources, communications and legal department personnel on regional, national and international production-related matters Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the SVP, Content and Live Programming
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or relevant work experience
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the production of live television sporting events
Strong editorial base knowledge of major U.S.sports leagues and teams
Solid base knowledge of television production equipment and operations workflow
Working knowledge of digital video and social media production
