We are looking for an experienced digital content marketing/audience engagement professional to join Katie Couric Media’s New York-based digital content team. The successful candidate will be a smart, innovative digital-content native, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow and engage audiences across a variety of platforms. 

This person will think about where our wide variety of digital content should live in terms of platforms and distribution channels/partners. An understanding of strengths and opportunities for content across an array of platforms - including social media, web, TV, OTT, and beyond - is critical.

They will think strategically about where content and distribution partnerships with other publishers or companies make sense - identifying potential partners who could benefit KCM by providing data, insights, or an engaged audience to help us expand beyond our current footprint. Aligning with partners and brands that find value in our unique brand of value-led content is a core objective of KCM.

They will have a track record of using data to keep a pulse on trends - what people are talking about and engaging with when it comes to news, lifestyle, issues and values - and in turn, use that knowledge to inform both a day-to-day content strategy, as well as a long-term, strategic one. 

They should have deep knowledge of SEO and all social media platforms and a track record of making recommendations that have resulted in both audience growth and increased engagement. Responsibility for extending Katie’s social media audience will fall within the scope of this position. We expect the successful candidate to know how to effectively use social as a central component of our content and distribution strategies.


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years in content marketing, digital media, or other relevant experience.
  • At least two years’ of experience managing social media platforms for a publisher or media brand. Comparable/related industry experience considered.
  • Excellent written communication.
  • A nuanced understanding of audience data and analytics and a track record of using data to make decisions.
