The Specialist, Multi-Platform Strategy within the Marketing department at GOLF will assist the Planning team in all matters related to planning and executing paid and earned promotion for all GOLF brands.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager and Director, Multi-Platform Strategy on all off-air planning for the GOLF portfolio including paid media and cross channel
  • Initiate requests and provide specs and deadlines for creative assets within asset management software to ensure all necessary creative is developed, at spec and on deadline, to fulfill buys
  • Assist in the execution of paid media buys ensuring buys stay on strategy, on schedule and under budget
  • Assist in the strategy, execution, optimization and reporting of all paid social for GOLFCreate and deliver traffic instructions for all promos running for paid media and off-networkDeliver all assets to the appropriate location ensuring they run as planned for paid media and promotion across other NBCU networks and platformsAssist with Measurement & Analytics team to ensure buys are appropriately tracked for proper attribution to paid media activity by creating UTMs for all necessary assetsCompile and evaluate post-campaign reporting and make recommendations on learnings to improve future media buysProcess and reconcile invoices for all paid media buys and ensuring all invoices are accurate and ironing out any discrepancies before processing

    Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media Planning, or relevant experience in similar field
  • 2 years experience in media planning for a brand or with an agency
  • Knowledge of basic media planning principles
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and assignments concurrently and keep pace in a quickly moving environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; analytical skills
  • The ability to work extended hours on short notice if the work requires it, including weekends

    Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of golf and/or golf industry
  • Knowledge of paid social and programmatic digital
