Our team is seeking a strong Multi-Platform Marketing Coordinator ready to take their career to the next level. In this role you’ll put your creative thinking and skills to work to create exciting and emotion-driven advertising and content marketing alongside an award-winning team. You’ll conceptualize, produce, write, edit, design, and share marketing creative across many channels: TV, social media, radio, outdoor and more. Individuals who will succeed in the position will possess solid computer, writing, and technical skills, including familiarity with CMS. The position reports to the Community & Marketing Director.


  • Be self-reliant and able to efficiently prioritize and complete tasks independently
  • Coordinate with other members of the marketing team in ensuring we’re all working towards a common goal and to bridge work-gaps in the department when necessary
  • Create videos for social media and display banners that help generate views, clicks, and/or social conversation
  • Craft headlines and post copy for digital and social media
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members on creative ideas or projects
  • Identify and share new ways to improve marketing and drive digital traffic and TV viewership
  • Moderate social media accounts and discussion on an as-needed basis
  • Partner with NBC Bay Area on bi-lingual, cross-promotional projects
  • Help with logs, affiliate relations & FCC compliances
  • Coordinate and manage daily station promo logs for two stations
  • Assist with event coordination – duties ranging from securing venues, ordering premiums, executing contracts, researching vendors, etc.
  • Ability to work nights/weekends for event coverage or tight deadlines when needed
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and client relation skills
  • Strong ability to write conversational, action-oriented marketing copy in Spanish
  • Comfortable with using and administering CMS and social media platforms
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends if requested
  • Experience in working in a marketing, sales or event-based organization
  • Computer proficiency required (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • College degree or equivalent work experience




  • 2 year college degree in marketing or related field is preferred but not required
  • Fluent in Spanish (Speak, read & write) preferred
  • Strong written and communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Well organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Consistent team player who is willing to pitch in on last minute, high priority projects as needed
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop or Illustrator) preferred, but not required


  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Must be willing to work in our San Jose, CA station
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Be able to work flexible hours when needed including weekends and holidays, with short notice
