NBC News is seeking a candidate who will be key in helping develop solutions in support of the needs of News to enable and support overall business priorities. The successful candidate will operate in a matrix environment that includes resources from cross-functional teams, and will guide them through processes that most effectively deliver technology and workflow solutions. Key responsibilities include:
Collaborate across product owners on the product roadmap, analysis, requirements and priorities for product features and requests.Work with technical project manager to lead project inceptions, scrums, iteration planning, and estimation discussions.Proactively manage and effectively communicate timelines and status to stakeholders. Oversee the prioritization of product features and enhancements for the entire News portfolio.Serve as the escalation point for the day-to-day operational activities across the landscape of applications utilized by the business.Build and maintain strong relationships with the editorial, technical, and operational teams to improve operational effectiveness.Understand industry trends, emerging technologies and use them to achieve project objectives.Maintain and refine processes implemented for enhancements and feature requests development.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on technical or operational experience with software development, requirements analysis, or project management for media.
• Experience working with agile principles.
• Outstanding relationship management and communication skills.

• Strong team building and collaboration skills.
• Ability to anticipate issues and identify areas for improvement.
• Ability to manage and influence others within a complex organization.
• Previous experience with Project Management tools a plus.
