The Library of America, a prestigious nonprofit publisher, seeks a Contracts and Permissions Manager to draft and negotiate contracts, maintain contracts files and database, research and clear permissions for text and illustrations and respond to permissions requests, assist editorial director in selling foreign rights, and perform additional research and administrative duties as required. Minimum two years publishing experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must. Reports to Editorial Director. Send cover letter and resume.
