The Community Impact department is responsible for managing Comcast’s Foundation, National Partnerships, National Programs, Employee Engagement and Grants. The Employee Engagement and Volunteerism team is responsible for planning, managing and orchestrating Comcast Corporation’s Community Impact programs, fostering employee engagement.

Role Summary
The Sr. Manager, Strategic Marketing Initiatives will be a key member of the strategic marketing function within the Corporate Symphony team. The position will be responsible for working with the VP, Strategic Marketing Initiatives - as well as the Chair, Marketing Council and SVP, Strategic Initiatives as needed - to drive major initiatives and priorities across the organization, without bias to business or platform, in order to achieve overall company objectives. A successful leader in this role must be collaborative and able to develop relationships with marketers as well as contributors within other functions across all divisions and business units within company. The position will focus on all aspects of the NBCUniversal and Comcast businesses.

ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee ongoing operations of Symphony across all available assets including media placements and technology systemsCollaborate with all NBCUniversal and Comcast businesses to create partnerships that serve evolving business needsIdentify and secure new/additional opportunities – both owned assets and strategic partnerships – to leverage for incremental Symphony exposurePartner with internal marketing teams to continually measure and optimize campaigns to improve effectiveness of on-air and digital cross-channel inventoryCollaborate with brands on all aspects of campaign readout to senior leaders throughout the company, including presentation and coordination of the meetingIdentify and summarize cross-portfolio marketing insights, reporting, & best practices; provide guidance to brand marketers and other key stakeholder groups for campaignsCommunicate and evangelize the Symphony priorities, process, and overall philosophy to all levels of the organizationProgram and plan the annual Marketing Council Offsite as well as other key events & meetingsDraft internal Symphony updates for executive leaders and Marketing Council members, including overseeing the production of video content/sizzle reelsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum five (5) years of media, promotion, marketing or advertising experience or experience in investment banking, management consulting, or technology platforms
  • Experience with creative asset needs and development across all platforms
  • Experience with project management of complex and multi-faceted product launches, promotional campaigns, or similar initiatives
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
