PMC: Marketing Programmer
Penske Media Corporation (PMC) is looking for a Marketing Programmer to join the Audience Development team. This person manages email communications for Variety and our portfolio of entertainment and fashion news sites, including BGR, Deadline, Hollywood Life, TVLine, and WWD.
The Audience Development Team is a leader in developing email and growth strategy for all of PMC's brands. - 3-5 years of experience coding HTML/CSS email templates utilizing best practices - responsive, interactive and personalized emails a plus (Adobe Photoshop skills helpful)
- GIT versioning control proficiency
- Knowledge of Email Marketing KPIs
- Knowledge of A/B testing and deliverability best practices
- Proficient in email distribution software (such as Sailthru, ExactTarget)
- Knowledge of analytics software (such as Google Analytics)
- Previous experience with Litmus, testing and troubleshooting in multiple browsers and email clients
- Ability to work across a large company with multiple teams and differing strategic initiatives while maintaining excellent organization
- Experience with MS Excel
- SQL query experience a plus
- Manage and execute email programs; including one-off, triggered, and lifecycle messages
- Code and edit HTML/CSS email templates
- Assist with customizable and automatic email sends across the company
- Work on development tickets pertaining to email operations
- Own and manage an email send calendar across multiple groups
- Interact with sales teams in the creation and deployment of newsletters
- Collaborate with Audience Development team on email best practices and strategy for all PMC brands
- Create reports and analyze campaign performance as needed
