We
are looking for high energy individuals for The Trade Desk Sales Representative
role. It is an exciting role that brings together our buyers and sellers,
creating opportunities for mutual success! This position assists customers by
responding to and handling customer calls and inquiries, prospecting new and
inactive customers and providing information about (OVE.com, Manheim.com and
Simulcast).



 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Educate customers on
    Online Vehicle Exchange, Simulcast, Manheim.com, and related products.  Provide support in usage.

  • Develop and strengthen
    relationships with dealers over the phone and on sale days through planned and
    scheduled contact and meetings, as well as feedback sessions regarding Auction
    use and services.

  • Respond to dealer
    inquiries, problems, or concerns in a professional manner and escalate as
    necessary.

  • Partner with
    Inspections to ensure timely inspection of OVE units and preparation of
    selected vehicles for Internet viewing by taking digital pictures during the
    inspection process and writing Internet condition reports.

  • Maximize the number of
    transactions on OVE. Promote all listings onsite and offsite.

  • Load inventory for
    dealers including no sales, transfer inventory from AutoTrader/others and
    vehicles with condition reports.

  • Solicit inventory on
    sale day.

  • Merchandise online
    opportunities. Offer additional services to all online buyers to improve unit saleability
    (PSIs, recon, CRs).

  • Assist buyer with
    transportation needs and requests.

  • Assist with online
    “IFs”, arbitrations and customer care issues.

  • Identify sold units and
    facilitate transactions through completion to include but not limited to the
    following:

  • Monitor
    notifications generated online (e.g., purchase confirmation).

  • Confirm
    availability and location of vehicle (and title) at the time of sale.

  • Generate
    and maintain required documentation for all transactions (e.g., Auction Bill of
    Sale, Gate Release).

  • Ensure
    collection and/or processing of payment or financing arrangements from the
    Buyer.

  • Coordinate
    transfer and distribution of vehicle title to Buyer.

  • Coordinate
    payment of funds (net of applicable fees) to Seller.

  • Work
    with manager to ensure a consistent and effective online customer experience, appropriate transaction
    processing, high customer satisfaction and service levels. 

  • Visibly
    demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and
    modeling the behaviors related to such. 
    Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with
    Safety Excellence, which includes performing the following:

  • Perform
    other duties as assigned by management.













































Qualifications:

 


Job Requirements

The
ideal candidate will possess the following:



  • High
    School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 1
    - 3 years Auction experience, or 2 - 4 years dealership/automotive experience
    required.

  • Effective
    communication and organizational skills required.

  • Demonstrated
    planning success

  • Proven
    experience in building relationships is required.

  • Advanced
    computer skills, including demonstrated use of Chrome, Explorer/Edge, mobile
    apps, and Microsoft Office products

  • Ability
    to process information and make judgment decisions required.

      
Work conditions

 

  • The selected candidate must be able to work Monday through
    Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, and must be available to work on Thursday evenings.
