Job Description:
Our marketing and communications agency client is currently looking for a Paid Search Manager to join their team, temp to possible perm.

This agency focuses primarily on healthcare clients, and has won technology awards on their proprietary search engine tool. The team consists of data scientists, identifying market trends and best strategies to optimize paid search. Paid Search Manager must be data driven, with the technical skills and softwares needed, as well as client facing ability.

Paid Search Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute paid efforts on search channels (Google, Bing) through successful bid strategies and effective keyword management
- Mentor Analysts and QA deliverables
- Implement and manage paid search campaigns using online platforms and tools including: Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter
- Conduct keyword, trend and audience research in tandem with analytics team members
- Track and report performance regularly in cohesion with account teams and analytics teams
- Optimize search campaigns to meet and exceed KPIs set
- Generate pixels and collaborate with technical team for implementation to track website conversions
- Integrate paid social and display strategies into paid search plans
- Liaise with clients, account teams and senior levels of management to develop paid search strategies
- Work with the analytics team and other senior levels of management to interpret search market analyses and identify key search successes and opportunities
- Work with the design team to create, curate and manage paid search creative
- Manage large search campaign budgets and adjust/ optimize as needed, providing key recommendations to account teams and clients

Paid Search Manager Requirements:
- 4+ years' experience in paid search media buying, strategy, or integrated communications - Paid search expertise is a must; basic understanding of all digital media disciplines and ideally AdWords certification
- Working knowledge of all digital media disciplines and 3rd party tracking and serving technologies related to SEM (Marin, Kenshoo, DoubleClick Search (SA360), IgnitionOne, Wordstream, etc.)
- Experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe or Coremetrics
- A demonstrated passion for and understanding of search marketing
- Client service experience in an agency environment; experience collaborating effectively internally and externally as part of an integrated team
- Detail oriented, well-organized professional who performs with a sense of urgency, and stays on schedule and on budget
- High energy, able to effectively operate in fast-paced, growing and changing environment
- Expert in MS office tools, particularly Excel, and Prisma

This position really requires strong collaboration across teams. You'll work very closely and share data with media teams including internal Social, Account and Analytics and Data Science teams. People who will excel in this role show strong interest in analytics as the approach to planning and optimizing search activation, be it paid, organic, or both, sits on a well-principled and scientific foundation.
