Job Description:

Our well-known greeting card retailer is looking for a Editorial Manager to join their team in a full time capacity!

This Editorial Manager will be:

- Creating, defining, and implementing voices and taste guidelines for 3 different brands

- Managing outside creative freelancers

- Compiling high-level insights to share with employee and freelancers in a performance review

- Researching trending/seasonal language and content for new developments

- Create editorial strategies for each program (card and non-card)

- Writing retail and trade ad and social media copy

- Developing social media strategy and calendar

- Developing brand style guides

- Writing copy for sales kits, promotional giveaways, press releases, advertising and paid search, pitches to magazines and websites


- 5+ years in a production environment

- Strong understanding of editorial production procedures and understanding of steps in production process

- 3+ years of managerial experience

- Recent examples of Creative Writing �

Major Pluses for this client: Editorial from greeting card company , Passionate about greeting cards and correspondence, social media experience

This role is onsite with 1 day offsite flex.
