Role Purpose The Program Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the content schedule for all subscription offerings on NBC Sports Gold, as well as ensuring that user-facing messaging within the NBC Sports Gold product accurately reflects the scheduled events.
Work alongside NBC Sports Group Programming teams (i.e., NBCSN, Olympic Channel, NBC Regional Networks) to generate and confirm content schedules for all sports and packages within the NBC Sports Gold portfolio
Communicate schedule changes to multiple departments in a timely manner
Serve as main stakeholder of quality assurance for published schedule listings
Maintain accurate counts of hours, events and other content library metrics
Work with Editorial and Marketing teams to strengthen “When/How to Watch” presence on web
Work with Marketing and Engagement group to ensure accuracy of tune-in messaging to active and prospective subscribers
Flexibility to work on ad-hoc projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or relevant work experience
Experience with programming, scheduling or video asset management systems/tools
Additional Job Qualifications
Strong skills and experience with MS- Excel and other quantitative tools, a plus
