Overview

Digiday Media is looking for a Junior Content Marketing Manager to support the production of marketing materials, from emails to marketing collateral to social assets and more.

Who you are

You’re an excellent communicator with strong writing skills. You have a knack for simplifying messages and articulating them clearly and concisely. You have the ability to understand the problems and challenges of an audience and craft messaging that resonates with them. You’ve got a creative side, but can also switch gears and flawlessly manage a number of projects at once. You’re also comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, are more than willing to “roll up your sleeves” when asked and are excited about the idea of stepping outside of your comfort zone from time-to-time.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with Marketing Managers to produce highly effective email marketing campaigns
  • Own and execute the social strategy to promote paid programs including events, awards and subscriptions
  • Develop one-off marketing assets, including product explainers, landing pages, marketing collateral and lead gen assets
  • Work with marketing managers to AB test and fine-tune copy across display, email, social, search and more
  • Act as a copywriting resource for the marketing team
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to produce multimedia when necessary

 

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years experience
  • Extremely strong writing skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail a must
  • A track record of creating effective content
  • Passionate about creating compelling content and messages
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, basic HTML and email service providers preferred
  • Experience creating multimedia a bonus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Hard working, a team player, willing to “roll up your sleeves” and comfortable stepping outside of your comfort zone
